“As a Physical Therapist, my goal is to inspire and motivate my patients to reach their maximum potential. I truly believe in creating treatment plans that are individualized to the patient’s needs through thorough evaluations and reassessments using current based research practices. We treat people not their medical diagnosis. What I love about my profession is the valuable one on one time that we spend weekly with our patients. I find it very rewarding to walk with each patient’s unique journey and help them take control of their physical health.”
Jessica always knew she wanted to pursue a career in the health field through conservative and holistic treatment approaches. Her passion for physical therapy grew from being introduced to exercise, dance, and pilates classes at an early age where she learned the significant correlation between health and physical activity. This furthered her interest in anatomy and biomechanical concepts in relation to movement and injury prevention. She knew this was a rewarding profession that would help her to make an impact on each of her patients and provide them with the quality of care they need. Jessica received her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Azusa Pacific University. She continues to believe in giving each of her patients individualized care through creating personalized plans that correlate to the patient’s specific needs. Jessica personalizes each patient’s treatment with hands-on manual therapy through the use of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, soft tissue and joint mobilizations, and muscle re-education. Patients are given the education needed to understand and manage their symptoms from the initial evaluation to discharge for a smooth transition back to the patient’s functional goals and with the knowledge to prevent future recurrences. Patient’s have commended Jessica’s ability to create an atmosphere where patients want to attend PT, are given continued progressions in their treatments and exercise program, and who shares a positive and appropriate demeanor.
Jessica values spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, she loves to hike, run, play volleyball, watch baseball, cook or explore a new restaurant, watch movies, and play board games.
